North Carolina Tar Heels vs. Virginia Cavaliers

The North Carolina Tar Heels still hold the lead in the ACC with only a handful of regular season games remaining on the schedule. However, they are not the highest-ranked ACC team in the national polls, an honor bestowed on the No. 3 Virginia Cavaliers. On Saturday evening, the two teams will do battle inside John Paul Jones Arena.

Brice Johnson has been simply marvelous for the Tar Heels to this point in the season, earning a double-double just about every time he takes the floor. However, North Carolina is at their best when players like Marcus Paige and Justin Jackson are able to get into a rhythm and zone, which they’ll need to do against Virginia. As for the Cavaliers, Malcolm Brogdon is their heart without question as the anchor on both ends of the floor. However, Anthony Gill and London Perrantes will have to step up to keep up with the fast pace of North Carolina.
