Donald Trump praises Urban Meyer during Ohio campaign stop

2016 GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump knew the right thing to say to the crowd at a rally in Columbus.
As the calendar turned to March, the most important day of the 2016 primary season for the Presidential candidates in both political parties takes place. “Super Tuesday” will see 12 states make the decision about what candidate on the Republican and Democratic sides will get the their state’s delegates and inch closer to winning the party nomination this summer.
At campaign stops across the country, candidates make sure to make their speech appropriate for the current crowd they are addressing. At an event in Columbus, Ohio earlier in the day, GOP frontrunner Donald Trump made sure to get on the crowd’s good side by heaping praise upon the head coach of the hometown Ohio State Buckeyes football team, Urban Meyer:

Voters in Ohio will have to wait until March 15th before casting their ballots in each parties’ primaries. Meyer has never revealed which side of the political spectrum he leans toward, saying he would not endorse any candidate in the 2016 cycle and has praised both former President George W. Bush and current President Barack Obama after visits to the White House during both administrations to honor national championship teams at both Florida and Ohio State.
