Ryan Arcidiacono showed that he’s ready for March Madness on Friday with this clutch three

The Villanova Wildcats are the No. 2 in the South Region of the 2016 NCAA Tournament and they’re starting their March Madness journey off on Friday with a game against No. 15 UNC Asheville. And right off the bat in this one, Ryan Arcidiacono is already making his presence felt in the tourney.

For the most part, Villanova, as expected, was handling their opponent rather easily, but right before they went into the half Arci decided that he wanted to add to that lead just a little more.

With time running down on the clock, Arcidiacono came down with the ball and he nailed in this off-balance, buzzer-beating three to send the Wildcats to the locker room with the 40-26 lead.

Well that’s certainly a way to get the NCAA Tournament started for both yourself and your team. Time and time again this season, Arcidiacono has come through for Villanova and he did it again right here.

Villanova wasn’t able to capture the Big East title, but if they stay clutch like this, the national title might not be too far away.
