Rajon Rondo is going to be one of the best players in this year’s NBA Free Agency class, but where will the NBA Champion and All-Star land?

Sacramento Kings’ point guard, Rajon Rondo, has accomplished great things in his career, and this offseason he will be sought after by many teams to help them reach the heights that he achieved the Boston Celtics.

The point guard position has become the most crucial in the NBA with the league being full of young talented guards like Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook, and John Wall to name a few. Teams that have these elite guards are generally some of the best in the NBA, the Golden State Warriors were last season with Curry at the point.

It isn’t easy to find a point guard with the skill set of Rondo, and that is one of the main reasons why he will be one of the most attractive options to teams in need of a point guard this season. The Kings would surely love to have him back next season, but there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding their star player, DeMarcus Cousins, and their head coach George Karl. Trouble in Sacramento may lead to Rondo deciding to look elsewhere, as they will be missing the playoffs once again this season.

Big market teams like the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets have cap space and are in need of a point guard, which may result in Rondo heading back to the East Coast.

With free agency coming soon, here are five possible destinations for Rondo next season.
