Will former WWE superstar CM Punk make an appearance at WrestleMania 32?

Ever since CM Punk walked away from the WWE in order to pursue his UFC career, WWE fans have wondered when and even if they will see Punk in a WWE ring again. With WrestleMania 32 coming up at the beginning of April, could fans be seeing an appearance by Punk?

The likely answer to that question is no. Punk has been very open about his departure from the WWE. Lots of factors were at play, but arguably the biggest one was that the WWE never booked him properly like the star that he was. While the WWE could certainly use another babyface to carry the company, especially with Cena being out, unless Punk lowers his demands or the WWE meets Punk at his, fans have likely seen the last of CM Punk in a WWE ring.

That said, a Punk return cannot be ruled out. Should the WWE decide to meet Punk’s demands and book him more efficiently like the popular star that he is, WrestleMania 32 would be a great way to re-introduce him to the company. Of course, there are some complications – namely Punk’s current contract with UFC. It’s hard to imagine that the WWE would want him to risk injury in UFC matches while it’s also difficult to imagine the UFC being too happy about Punk making WWE appearances while he’s under contract with UFC.

At the end of the day, a Punk return to the WWE isn’t likely. But don’t rule it out. Weirder things have certainly happened in the WWE.
