Michael Jordan couldn’t do anything but respect the shot from Kris Jenkins

Can you imagine what it’s like to hit one of the greatest shots in NCAA Tournament history in front of the greatest basketball player in history? Well, that was the case for Villanova’s Kris Jenkins on Monday night.

Jenkins was able to earn his team the national championship with a win over North Carolina as he nailed a three with the final buzzer sounding. It was one of the best sports moments that we have ever seen, and of course, with North Carolina in the game, he did it right in front of none other than Michael Jordan.

However, game respects game, and Jordan really wasn’t all that mad when Jenkins hit the shot. No, all he did was utter two simple words: “Good shot.”

Hey, there’s nothing more you really can do in that situation. It was indeed a good shot, and again, one of the best that we’ve ever seen in the history of the glorious NCAA Tournament.

Now you have to wonder whether or not Jordan is thinking about getting Jenkins to play for the Charlotte Hornets after that shot. He’d probably like to have him on his side now.
