Find out how to watch the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 as the NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers race at Texas Motor Speedway.
In a somewhat rare Friday night race, the NASCAR Xfinity Series will race under the lights for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300. The circuit as had two weeks off, so the drivers may be rusty as they start their engines on Friday. The Xfinity Series did not run at Martinsville, so most of the drivers won’t have to adjust back to the long track after the short track race.
Night time racing is exciting for NASCAR fans and drivers alike. The cars shine even more as the lights reflect off their cars and focus in as they zoom around the track. Teams can also further develop their chemistry as they’ve had an extended time off and will need to shift focus back to racing and finding success at Texas Motor Speedway.
It will be a busy day for the drivers. Those who double up in both the Xfinity Series and Sprint Cup series will run qualifying for both races before the final Sprint Cup Series practice is run. Then, the Xfinity Series race will start to cap off an exciting day at Texas Motor Speedway.
