Kyle Lowry finds Patrick Patterson for a fantastic fast break jam that ignited the Air Canada Centre crowd in the Toronto Raptors’ home game versus Indiana.

In Game 1 of the No. 2 versus No. 7 series in the Eastern Conference Playoffs between the Toronto Raptors and the Indiana Pacers, Raptors All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry magnificently orchestrates a fast break play, finding Patrick Patterson for a thunderous jam that ignited all in attendance Air Canada Centre and those just outside at Jurassic Park.

In typical fashion of a Game 1 in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, both the Raptors and Pacers were doing a great bit of feeling each other out. Toronto may be the favorite to win the series, but Indiana isn’t going do without a fight.

Many of the great plays in the first half of Game 1 came in transition for either team, but the dunk on the fast break by Patterson was perhaps the biggest highlight that helped the Raptors take the lead into halftime.

Up 37-31 with 4:00 minutes remaining in the second quarter, Lowry leads a three-on-two fast break in favor of the Raptors. His speed and great ball handling skills had the two Pacers defenders reeling in transition. At the three-point line, Lowry finds Patterson who promptly leaps from just outside the key for the monstrous jam.

That dunk put Toronto up 39-31 and forced Pacers head coach Frank Vogel to call a timeout. If Lowry is able to run that type of a transition offense against what is a solid defensive team in Indiana, this could be the key piece that allows Toronto to advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals for the first time with Lowry as their All-Star point guard.
