Warren G didn’t have the best performance on Friday and Cubs fans let him know about it

There are some things that you just flat out don’t do in sports. One of these things, unquestionably, is not screwing up “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” when you’re invited to perform it inside Wrigley Field for a Chicago Cubs game. This was something that no one told Warren G.

The Cubs are taking on the Atlanta Braves Friday afternoon, and the rap legend was the one tasked with taking care of the 7th inning festivities. Well, right off the bat you could tell that he had no idea what he was doing, as he just destroyed (and not in a good way) the famous song.

Naturally, Cubs fans voiced their displeasure.

Now you knew that was gonna happen. Unfortunately, people have walked into Wrigley Field before and just straight butchered the national anthem, and even in those instances, Cubs fans let them know that they absolutely sucked and should not be singing at all.

This isn’t the first time this has happened and it certainly won’t be the last.

But if you’re given the opportunity to do this — don’t screw it up unless you wanna get booed relentlessly.
