A look at the picks that were made by the Washington Redskins in the 2016 NFL Draft

The Washington Redskins are coming off a 2015 NFL season that no one thought they’d be having. After having some things go their way around the division, they were able to capture the NFC East crown and head off to the playoffs. With the NFL Draft this weekend, the Redskins were looking to add some more young talent to this championship roster.

Her is a look at the full list of 2016 NFL Draft picks for the Washington Redskins.

  • Round 1 (22) – Josh Doctson, WR, TCU
  • Round 2 (22) – Su’a Cravens, LB, USC
  • Round 3 (21) – Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
  • Round 5 (13) – Matt Ionaddis, DT, Temple
  • Round 6 (12) – Nate Sudfeld, QB, Indiana
  • Round 7 (11) – Steven Daniels, LB, Boston College
  • Round 7 (21) – Keith Marshall, RB, Georgia

That first round pick of Doctson is intriguing. While the Redskins did win the division title last season, they could use the help in the passing game for Kirk Cousins. Doctson was about as reliable of a receiver that you can find in the nation the past few seasons, so he could contribute early.

Also, the selection of Fuller to help on the defensive side of the ball might have been a steal as well. While he has battled injuries, when he is healthy, you might not find a better lockdown corner.

What do you think of the picks made by the Redskins this weekend?
