It’s a huge night of MLB action this Tuesday with all 30 teams in action under the lights tonight. The battle of the Sox in Chicago tonight will be a matchup of division leaders while the Cubs and Pirates, the Braves and Mets, and the Mariners and the Athletics continue their divisional series. With all 30 teams in action, there are plenty of options if you need to add a pitcher to your season-long fantasy baseball league or are looking for a DFS bargain.  Today’s fantasy baseball streaming pitchers are especially strong since rotations have lined up to give us some really nice options. To see the best of the available options taking the mound tonight, scroll through my top five fantasy baseball streaming pitchers for Tuesday on the following slides.

More from Boston Red Sox

Each day in this post you can find my top 5 scheduled starters that are available in over 50% of ESPN leagues.  I’ve included their ownership level in ESPN leagues in parentheses after their name at the top of each slide. These pitchers aren’t usually big names that are impossible to pick up in season-long leagues or that cost an huge percentage of your DFS salary cap. However, I think they can step up and produce solid outings given their current form, opponent, and potential to put together solid numbers. Each morning, you can find these “best available” starting pitchers on our FanSided fantasy baseball hub.

Yesterday, my top 5 fantasy baseball streaming pitchers started the week with two good performances and three bad performances. My top two pitchers allowed just one run in a total of 14 innings while striking out 16.  However, my bottom three options got shelled going 0-3 and allowing 17 runs in 17 innings.  The only win of the night came from the ageless wonder that is Bartolo Colon (pictured above). I’ve been running this daily post for just over two weeks and my 75 fantasy baseball streaming pitchers are 28-27 with a 4.26 ERA, a 1.328 WHIP, and 7.63 K/9. The good news is that I think today’s pitchers are some of the deepest that I’ve had yet in this feature, so we should be in good shape for tonight.

If you want to discuss your fantasy baseball streaming pitchers, other waiver wire pickups, offer alternative options, or let me know how our fantasy baseball coverage can be more of a help to you, find me throughout the day @FansidedFantasy on Twitter. In the coming weeks as the NBA playoffs start to slow down, we’ll be able to expand our daily league fantasy baseball coverage, so stay tuned.

With those prelims out of the way, let’s dive in to my top 5 fantasy baseball streaming pitchers for Tuesday.
