Carlos Beltran hit quite the milestone on Sunday afternoon, belting the 400th home run of his career

New York Yankees outfielder Carlos Beltran made a little bit of history on Sunday. In the bottom of the sixth inning with the Yankees trailing the White Sox 4-3, Beltran came up to the plate and he blasted a two-run home run. However, this wasn’t just any home run. No, this was the 400th of the veteran’s career.

You can watch the milestone blast below.

Hitting 400 home runs in a career is not something that is accomplished a lot, so this indeed was quite the history-making moment on Sunday.

Despite this, though, there are in fact people still out there that debate whether or not Beltran will make it into the Baseball Hall of Fame someday. To put into perspective how ridiculous of a sentiment that might be, here’s something about this home run on Sunday that might put things into a little better perspective.

That right there alone should be enough to settle the argument from anyone, but  people will still question whether or not Beltran belongs in the hallowed halls of Cooperstown one day, unfortunately.
