Which five teams need to trade their 2016 NBA Draft pick following Tuesday’s draft lottery?

The NBA Lottery selection took place on Tuesday night and despite all of the constant rumors of lottery rigging, this year’s order doesn’t really come with any big surprises.

In years past, we have seen the Cleveland Cavaliers go from a projected mid-lottery pick to No. 1 overall, shocking NBA fans everywhere and breaking the hearts of fans of the league’s bottom-dwelling teams.

The rigging comes up in discussion because of the Cavs’ constant No. 1 selections, especially a couple of years ago when they already had planned on signing LeBron James in the offseason, giving them a nice trade piece in Andrew Wiggins to add Kevin Love.

People still tune in to see where their favorite teams will be selecting in June’s draft and a little controversy never hurt anyone.

This year, the Philadelphia 76ers will have the No. 1 overall pick, followed by the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics, respectively. Phoenix and Minnesota round out the top five with exactly zero surprises.

The speculation of who will be the top pick, between Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram, has already begun, but now it’s really time to see which guys will go where in mock drafts as they become more realistic as the draft order is now set.

Now that the order is in place, let’s take a look at which teams should consider trading up or down. These squads don’t necessarily have to be lottery franchises, but all could have an effect on the top 14 picks, if they did happen.
