These are the reasons why Kevin Durant would be a great fit for the Miami Heat.

While Kevin Durant is firmly positioned in a battle for a spot in the NBA Finals with the Oklahoma City Thunder against the Golden State Warriors, the big questions surrounding Durant this year will be where he ends up in free agency.

While the Thunder’s deep run would probably be a great argument as to why Durant should return, he’s a businessman and will make to sure to checkout what options are available to him and what ultimately is the best business decision for him.

One team that will be interested in Durant is the Miami Heat. ESPN’s Dan Le Batard made plenty of news when he reported that the Heat plan to get a meeting with Durant and aggressively pursue him.

It shouldn’t be shocking that the Heat will get a meeting with Durant, as they are one of the best franchises in the NBA and have a legend in Pat Riley running the organization. If they are indeed to have a direct meeting with Durant, then they’re going to have a pretty compelling argument as to why he should join their franchise.

There are plenty of great reasons as to why Durant would be a perfect fit for the Heat and these are the five best reasons why he should choose the Heat.
