Looking when Warriors vs. Thunder Game 5 in the Western Conference Finals of the 2016 NBA Playoffs will be played

Coming into the 2016 NBA Playoffs, it truly felt like the Golden State Warriors and 15 other teams chasing them. After they won a record-breaking 73 games in the regular season, the Warriors led by MVP Stephen Curry seemed infallible in their pursuit of back-to-back NBA Championships. Someone probably should have told the Oklahoma City Thunder about this judging by how the Western Conference Finals have gone.

The Thunder started off the series by picking up a shocking win on the road in Oracle Arena, but many wondered if that was just rust Golden State having a letdown game. That seemed even more likely after the Warriors won Game 2, but things have changed since.

As the series shifted to Oklahoma City, the Thunder turned it up a notch and it’s been them who have looked like the best team in these playoffs. They held their homecourt and now the series moves back to Oakland with the Thunder up 3-1 and the Warriors facing elimination. As such, everyone must be wondering when Game 5 will be played.

Unlike the wait between Games 2 and 3 between the Warriors and Thunder, fans won’t have to wait long to see if Golden State survives. Warriors vs. Thunder Game 5 in the Western Conference Finals will be played on Thursday, May 26 with the tip happening at 9 p.m. ET and the broadcast again being on TNT.
