With 2016 NBA free agency gradually approaching, here is a look at 10 of the teams facing the most pressure to succeed and set themselves on the right track for next season.

NBA free agency this summer has plenty of possible action to keep you entertained. The Oklahoma City Thunder have reached a level no one saw coming, which has essentially put to rest the idea of Kevin Durant leaving, especially if they make the Finals. However, even without Durant, there are plenty of big names to keep an eye on, ranging from a young center like Hassan Whiteside to a veteran point guard like Mike Conley.

The real talking point of free agency this year, of course, is the exploding salary cap. As you’ll know by now, with the cap set to hit approximately $92 million, players are going to be looking for more money than ever. Teams have money to spend and for those looking to improve and enter the playoffs, the possibility of guys being seriously overpaid — partly due to need, partly due to shallow talent pools at certain positions — is higher than ever.

Bismack Biyombo and Harrison Barnes may even receive max contracts. That basically tells you everything you need to know.

So, from struggling teams who desperately need to turn their fortunes around to franchises who might not have the cap space to re-sign all their key players, there are many facing a lot of pressure this summer. Because of that, you can probably make an argument that most teams have a lot on the line, as is the case most years.

In no particular order, let’s dive into the outlook of some organizations with a lot of pressure on their shoulders.
