What will be the speed limit on pit road for the 2016 Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday?

On Sunday, the longest NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race of the year will take place at Charlotte Motor Speedway, as NASCAR’s best race in the 2016 Coca-Cola 600. Often a race that is as mentally challenging as it is physically challenging to drivers, it takes a real veteran to pull off a win at Charlotte.

It’s not the track that is tough to tame, it’s the mental battles and strategies that work against drivers for 600 miles of racing. The race itself is a real chore and drivers try to find little grooves to find themselves in throughout the race.

The good news is that during a 600-mile race, there is plenty of time to overcome mistakes so long as they don’t happen too late in the race. One of the more common penalties at Charlotte are speeding penalties and that can make or break a driver’s day in an instant.

The speed limit at the track is 45 mph and it will be strictly enforced on Sunday. Who will leave Charlotte with a win in their pocket on Sunday night?
