Ahead of EURO 2016, Sweden hosts Slovenia in international friendly action. This game will allow both managers to work out a few things ahead of more meaningful competition later this year.
Sweden is one of the top teams in the world and Europe, so expectations will be high for the national team as they compete in their first EURO 2016 group stage match in June. Their final May friendly is against Slovenia who didn’t qualify for this year’s EURO competition. Slovenia will look to use this game as they prepare for 2018 World Cup qualifying later this year.
