Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Dallas Baptist Patriots

As the hosts of the Lubbock Regional, the Texas Tech Red Raiders were obviously the favorites to come out and advance to the Super Regionals and one step closer to the College World Series through the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament. However, the Dallas Baptist Patriots aren’t lying down at all. After an opening loss, they’ve reeled off three consecutive wins—including one on Sunday night over Texas Tech—and now have a winner-take-all scenario on Monday.

Both Texas Tech and Dallas Baptist have a ton of bats that can get live in a hurry and they were on display on Sunday night in that game as the two teams combined for 21 hits and 15 walks drawn. With a trip to the Super Regionals hanging in the balance on Monday afternoon at Dan Law Field, though, Dallas Baptist will be looking for their big hitters in Jameson Hannah, Trooper Reynolds, and Austin Listi while the Red Raiders will be looking for Tanner Gardner, Cory Raley, and Eric Gutierrez to come through in a big moment.

This game to decide the Lubbock Regional in the NCAA Baseball Tournament will be broadcast on ESPN3 and the live streaming will be available by logging in either online or through the ESPN app using a cable or satellite subscription.
