Identifying the top high salary and value outfielder plays from around Major League Baseball for your June 14 DraftKings lineup.

Our goal is to help you win DraftKings contests with consistently strong lineups. To accomplish that, we’ll be highlighting some higher salary players worth paying up for, and some value picks that will help you save salary in key areas. These picks are specifically for DraftKings lineups, so all references to prices and fantasy points are based on DK figures.

As always, be sure to double-check final MLB lineups and monitor weather situations before locking in your DFS lineups.

High Salary

Mike Trout, Angels (5,000): Trout is expensive (per usual), but there are four other outfielders that cost more (Carlos Gonzalez, Mookie Betts, Ian Desmond, Carlos Beltran). So, considering that, Trout actually represents great value. Trout has hit safely in five of his last six games and he’s 3-for-7 with a home run in his career against Minnesota Twins righty Ervin Santana (1-6, 4.77 ERA).

Curtis Granderson, Mets (4,600): Despite having 12 home runs this season, Granderson has just 20 RBIs. That’s what happens when nine of your 12 home runs are solo shots. The Mets’ leadoff hitter is an interesting play Tuesday against Pittsburgh Pirates rookie Jameson Taillon. “Grandy” is hitting 40 points higher against righties than he is against lefties this season.

High Value

Ryan Braun, Brewers (3,500): Braun is tough to recommend for anything besides GPPs — facing San Francisco Giants ace Madison Bumgarner will do that. But Braun is quietly having a nice bounce-back season, hitting .313 with 11 home runs and 36 RBIs. He’s also had success against Bumgarner, going 8-for-26 with five extra-base hits in his career. For this discounted price, Braun is worth a look.

David Peralta, Diamondbacks (3,400): Peralta hasn’t exactly been lighting it up since returning on a stint on the disabled list. The Arizona outfielder is 5-for-20 in his seven games since being activated, but he draws a favorable matchup against Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Kenta Maeda (5-4, 2.70 ERA). Peralta is hitting .284 against right-handers this season.
