UC Santa Barbara Gauchos vs. Arizona Wildcats

After a ton of craziness and it being the year of the underdog in the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament, the College World Series is in the heart of the action as big elimination games are being played. On Wednesday night, one of those huge matchups will take place at the famed TD Ameritrade Park Omaha as the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos take on the Arizona Wildcats with staying alive in the College World Series and a date with the Oklahoma State Cowboys on the line in Bracket 1.

UCSB lost in a pitcher’s duel to Oklahoma State in their first game of the College World Series, but rebounded by pulling off one of the biggest upsets of the tournament as they eliminated the No. 3 national seed in the Miami Hurricanes to advance to this game. Meanwhile, Arizona stayed in the winner’s bracket after their first matchup was a win—but lost when they had to play Oklahoma State as well. Now both victims of the Cowboys will need a win on Wednesday to keep hope alive in Omaha.
