Recent NBA Trade Rumors suggest that the Minnesota Timberwolves are looking to move point guard Ricky Rubio.

After taking a Tom Thibodeau favorite Kris Dunn with the fifth overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves are now looking to move point guard Ricky Rubio, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

Rubio is a pass-first point guard who has really grown into a strong player in recent years. He is not a great defender or reliable outside shooter, but Rubio is a fantastic ball handler and decision maker on the offensive side of the court who can lead a team from the point guard position.

Dunn was a great addition to the mix in Minnesota, making Rubio an easy player to now move. It will be interesting to see what kind of interest Minnesota gets from the rest of the league on Rubio. They have clearly been shopping him for a while, so something could come back together extremely quickly.

Add Dunn and whatever the Timberwolves get from trading Rubio into the mix, and this team led by Karl Anthony-Towns and Andrew Wiggins is clearly headed in the right direction. This is a strong Tom Thibodeau team that he is quickly going to point in the right direction.
