Identifying the top high salary and value outfielder plays from around Major League Baseball for your June 24 DraftKings lineup.

Our goal is to help you win DraftKings contests with consistently strong lineups. To accomplish that, we’ll be highlighting some higher salary players worth paying up for, and some value picks that will help you save salary in key areas. These picks are specifically for DraftKings lineups, so all references to prices and fantasy points are based on DK figures.

As always, be sure to double-check final MLB lineups and monitor weather situations before locking in your DFS lineups.

High Salary

Carlos Gonzalez, Rockies (5,400): “CarGo” has hit safely in eight of his last nine games and has a chance to stay hot Friday against Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Archie Bradley (3-3, 4.83 ERA). Gonzalez is hitting .342 against righties this season, and .331 overall at home. That’s a nice combination.

Jay Bruce, Reds (5,000): Cincinnati might be struggling this season, but that hasn’t stopped the 29-year-old Bruce from putting together a brilliant season. His 16 home runs and 55 RBIs rank eighth and second in the National League, respectively. Thirteen of those 16 homers have come against right-handers, so that bodes well for his matchup with San Diego Padres righty Colin Rea (3-3, 5.02 ERA).

High Value

Nelson Cruz, Mariners (3,400): Cruz snapped a six-game homer-less streak by launching two home runs on Thursday. He’s too talented and too productive to be priced this low, so this is a great value opportunity. Of Cruz’s 18 home runs this season, nine have come against lefties and nine have come against righties. The 35-year-old can hit all pitchers.

Giancarlo Stanton, Marlins (3,200): Like Cruz, Stanton’s upside far outweighs his price here. True, he’s struggled against right-handers this season (.206), but he’s also homered twice in his last three games. Stanton is always a threat, and Chicago Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks (5-6, 2.94 ERA) shouldn’t dissuade you from rostering him.
