The NBA Draft is a night where dreams become realities and memories are made for many young players sharing the same goal. But what were the most memorable moments of the 2016 NBA Draft?

Now that the 2016 NBA Draft is behind us, all of the speculations can begin. Discussions will no doubt begin soon on who will be an all-star, who will win Rookie of the Year and who will have the best career as a pro.

The Sixers made their answer to all of those questions known when they selected Ben Simmons first overall out of LSU. The news broke before the draft that the Sixers had informed Simmons that he would be selected first overall. This news surprised no one. Simmons and Brandon Ingram were locked into the top two spots for months. Ingram was selected second overall by the Lakers.

For Simmons and Ingram, that was a moment they will never forget. There have been many memorable draft moments over the years. The Cavs selecting the hometown kid who people described as once in a lifetime, LeBron James. The Knicks winning the first overall pick in the Lottery for Ewing Sweepstakes, only to be followed by conspiracy theories.
