In yet another reported ugly incident for an NFL player, former NFL quarterback Tarvaris Jackson has reportedly been arrested in Florida.

According to WESH, Jackson was arrested for allegedly pulling a gun on his wife while he was intoxicated and threatening to kill her. The report also noted that marijuana was found on the counter at the time of the arrest.

As Chris Hush continued to tweet out more disturbing details, the whole incident continued to get worse and worse. According to the report tweeted out by Hush, a witness grabbed Jackson and stopped him from shooting, while the victim grabbed a kitchen knife and iron for protection.

For a quarterback like Jackson, who is hoping to stay in the league somewhere as a backup, this is the last thing that he needed. Jackson last appeared with the Seahawks last season as their backup quarterback and saw limited snaps.

If the report turns out to be true, then that would likely be it for Jackson, as the league has shown no tolerance for those that are involved in cases of domestic violence.

He also spent parts of his career with the Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills. He won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks in 2013 and was part of two teams that won back-to-back NFC Championships.
