Identifying the top high salary and value catcher plays from around Major League Baseball for your June 28 DraftKings lineup.

Our goal is to help you win DraftKings contests with consistently strong lineups. To accomplish that, we’ll be highlighting some higher salary players worth paying up for, and some value picks that will help you save salary in key areas. These picks are specifically for DraftKings lineups, so all references to prices and fantasy points are based on DK figures.

As always, be sure to double-check final MLB lineups and monitor weather situations before locking in your DFS lineups.

High Salary

Wilson Ramos, Nationals (4,500): Ramos enters play on Tuesday with a 10-game hitting streak, a stretch that includes a pair of home runs and three games of double-digit fantasy points. New York Mets starter Matt Harvey (4-9, 4.64 ERA) has pitched well of late, but he struggled in his last two starts against Washington. Ramos could capitalize on Tuesday.

Willson Contreras, Cubs (4,200): The Cubs’ rookie has been brilliant since being called up on June 17. He’s hit safely in eight of the nine games he’s played in, with three home runs over that same stretch. In an admittedly limited sample size, he’s hitting .429 against left-handers. That still bodes well for Tuesday’s matchup with Cincinnati Reds lefty John Lamb (1-4, 4.78 ERA).

High Value

Jason Castro, Astros (3,300): Castro has put together a nice little run over the last week or so, hitting safely in his last six starts. Over that stretch, he has three doubles and a home run. The lefty-hitting Castro is also hitting .262 against right-handers this season. On Tuesday, he’ll face veteran Tim Lincecum, who will be making his third start for the Los Angeles Angels.

James McCann, Tigers (3,200): McCann’s overall average is dangerously close to the Mendoza Line (.207), but he’s done well this season against left-handers. McCann is hitting .264 with four of his five home runs against southpaws, so that makes his matchup Tuesday with Miami Marlins lefty Adam Conley (4-4, 3.56 ERA) an interesting one.
