Identifying the top high salary and value third baseman plays from around Major League Baseball for your June 28 DraftKings lineup.

Our goal is to help you win DraftKings contests with consistently strong lineups. To accomplish that, we’ll be highlighting some higher salary players worth paying up for, and some value picks that will help you save salary in key areas. These picks are specifically for DraftKings lineups, so all references to prices and fantasy points are based on DK figures.

As always, be sure to double-check final MLB lineups and monitor weather situations before locking in your DFS lineups.

High Salary

Kris Bryant, Cubs (5,000): It’s only one game into the series, but the Cincinnati Reds have surely seen enough of Bryant. The Cubs’ young superstar launched three home runs Monday night, resulting in a 60-point fantasy performance. What can he do for an encore? Well, against left-hander John Lamb (1-4, 4.78 ERA), another home run is certainly a strong possibility.

Nolan Arenado, Rockies (4,900): Arenado extended his current hitting streak to 10 games Monday against the Toronto Blue Jays. He should be able to keep that going Tuesday against left-hander J.A. Happ (9-3, 3.42 ERA). Arenado is hitting .307 at home and .311 against lefties this season. That’s a winning combination.

High Value

Anthony Rendon, Nationals (3,600): Rendon has been relatively quiet this season, but he made some noise in Monday’s series opener against the New York Mets, going 2-for-4 with three RBIs (21 DK points). On Tuesday, he’ll face Matt Harvey (4-9, 4.64 ERA), against whom he is 6-for-17 with a home run in his career.

Travis Shaw, Red Sox (2,700): Shaw is in a funk, having gone just 1-for-12 over his last three starts, but he’s an interesting option for GPPs on Tuesday. The Red Sox face Tampa Bay Rays righty Chris Archer (4-10, 4.70 ERA), who has had his own struggles this season. Shaw is hitting .288 against righties and is 2-for-4 in his career against Archer.
