With Dwyane Wade set to hit the free agent market, which teams would be the best fits to sign him?

NBA Free Agency is set to kick off in the beginning on July and should make for an interesting offseason. While this free agent class isn’t incredibly deep, the group is still headlined by big names. This includes Kevin Durant of the Thunder, Dirk Nowitzki of the Mavericks, and Al Horford of the Hawks, among others.

Another interesting name will be long-time Heat star Dwyane Wade. While he has been a free agent before, and opted to return to Miami every time, 2016 could be different. Flash is 34 years old and on the backend of his career. With Chris Bosh’s status in doubt, Hassan Whiteside possibly leaving, and a backcourt with Goran Dragic never meshing well, it’s possible Wade leaves for another situation.

With the cap space set to balloon to around $94 million, teams will have money to spend. While Wade probably won’t command a long-term deal, he may ask for a fairly high salary for the next 1-3 years. If players like Joakim Noah are set to get $18 million per year, who knows how much Wade could get.

So which team could end up paying Dwyane Wade? Might it be a familiar team? How about a new squad, but with some well-known faces? Here are the five best fits for him in free agency.
