The Dallas Mavericks will be moving on from forward Chandler Parsons.

With free agency set to begin soon and the Mavericks in on many top free agents, it appears that they’re moving on from free agent forward Chandler Parsons, who will also have plenty of offers when free agency begins.

According to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, there is absolutely “no chance” of Parsons returning to Dallas.

When the Mavericks signed Parsons in free agency, they were hoping that they were landing a player that would fit right in and help them compete for Western Conference crowns.

Instead, Parsons couldn’t stay healthy and the Mavericks began to show signs of age. The Mavericks are reportedly in on Hassan Whiteside and Mike Conley, which would keep them in contention for a playoff spot in the Western Conference.

To sign those guys means that Parsons is out of the plans. Even if they weren’t in on those guys, it was probably a good time for both parties to split.
