The Golden State Warriors are terrifying.

Yes, the Warriors fell short of claiming two consecutive NBA championships by nature of a collapse in the 2016 NBA Finals, but that slip-up came on the heels of a record-setting campaign. Golden State posted the best regular season in NBA history with a 73-9 record, and because of the way the roster has been constructed, the Warriors have an opportunity to be even more talented (via a massive free agent addition) in 2016-2017 if everything breaks in the right direction.

With all of that out of the way, the Warriors enter the 2016-2017 season as the favorite to take home the Larry O’Brien Trophy (at least according to the experts in Las Vegas) and that brings up an interesting discussion. What can every team in the NBA possibly do to knock off Golden State? This is especially riveting if the Warriors are able to add a player in the mold of Kevin Durant or Al Horford once July arrives, but even if the core simply remains in tact, Steve Kerr, Stephen Curry and company should be quite formidable.

Today, we will take a glance at what each of the NBA’s 30 teams can do this summer in order to grab the upper hand against the Warriors. In some cases, the path is relatively easy, but in others, we can agree that it requires some suspension of reality. Let’s get to the list, beginning with the Atlanta Hawks and moving through the league alphabetically.
