Kevin Durant is a transcendent basketball player who also happens to be a free agent. Every NBA team should be making a free agent pitch to him, but not all pitches are created equal.

Kevin Durant is an unrestricted free agent which means he can go anywhere he wants, for as much as he wants (allowed by the CBA). While in reality this means he’s going to go to a team with the best chance to give him a title, that will also pay him the most amount money, there’s some fun to be had in imagining him exploring the possibility of every possible team.

In this reality Durant doesn’t care about money, situation, or fit. He just wants to listen to the best pitches, and then he’ll decide where to go. This means everybody from the 73-9 Golden State Warriors to the lowly Philadelphia 76ers are getting a meeting with the former MVP. Yes, even the Los Angeles Lakers get a chance to show their best pitch which is really showing how far away from reality this scenario exists.

Maybe Durant will decide that a quiet retirement in Utah is the way to go, or perhaps he has a love of theme parks making Orlando the easy decision. Is he a big fan of Jay Z? Well then boy does Brooklyn have the offer for them. Boston’s got assets, and Charlotte has the chance for him save an all time great from the fate of a meme. The world is open to Kevin Durant, and every team has a chance at him.
