Well things are about to get interesting in the NBA.

While plenty of free agents have signed big contracts, the two biggest free agents have yet to sign and teams are beginning to posture for their services. Despite agreeing to deals with Dwight Howard and Kent Bazemore on Friday, the Hawks are still trying to get in on Al Horford and clear the cap space to bring him back, according to Brian Windhorst.

Now, it looks like the Hawks could consider moving Paul Millsap to make that space. According to Chris B. Haynes, one rumor floating around is the Hawks sending Millsap to Phoenix for their variety of draft assets.

While the deal makes sense for Atlanta, it doesn’t make sense for a team like the Suns. They are finally committed to rebuilding and just drafted two young power forwards in the draft.

Adding Millsap takes away from their development and doesn’t fit with where they are trying to go as a franchise.
