The first update for Pokemon GO was released on Tuesday, so when can fans expect the next update?

In the short time since Pokemon GO was launched, it has quickly spread in popularity, seemingly taking over the entire world. But the game has not been free of problems, and there are bound to be plenty of updates in its future.

Version 1.01 went live for iOS users on Tuesday to fix the issues that the app was gaining access to more information than it needed to when signing in with Google. Additionally, the updated fixed some issues causing the game to crash, made it easier to login using Pokemon Trainer Club accounts, and added notifications to the game.

With its first update under its belt, how long would the wait be for the next one? It turns out not very long at all as version 1.02 of Pokemon GO became available for iOS users on Wednesday. This update offered more fixes for Pokemon Trainer Club login issues.

Android users also received a recent update to Pokemon GO that allows the game to be played on more devices specifically the app now runs on Android N devices when previously user would just get a lovely grey screen.

The updates also happen to coincide with Pokemon GO expanding into a new region: Germany. On Wednesday morning, it was announced that Pokemon GO was now live in Germany, marking the game’s first official launch in Europe.

This is truly just the beginning of updates to the game as it continues to rollout around the world, and new features are eventually added. For now, the updates seem to be focused on fixing issues in the game, which may not be very exciting, but is important.
