SEC Media Days 2016: Watch Day 3 online
By John Buhler
For the third day of 2016 SEC Media Days in Hoover, Alabama, here’s how to can watch all things Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Missouri football online.
It’ll be another early morning at the Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover, Alabama for day three of 2016 SEC Media Days. Four of the SEC’s 14 teams will take their turn with the college football media starting at 10:00 AM ET. The four teams available to speak with the media on Wednesday, July 13th will be the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Arkansas Razorbacks, the Kentucky Wildcats, and the Missouri Tigers.
Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide won the 2016 College Football Playoff and are coming off back-to-back SEC Championships in 2014 and 2015. Alabama reloads like no program in the country and will be the team to be in the SEC again in 2016. Joining Saban in nearby Hoover will be senior defensive lineman Jonathan Allen, senior tight end O.J. Howard, and senior defensive back Eddie Jackson.
Bret Bielema’s Razorbacks have quickly emerged as a force to be reckoned with in the SEC West, getting to back-to-back bowl games in the brutal division in 2014 and 2015. Arkansas will be represented by these three upperclassmen at SEC Media Days: senior linebacker Brooks Ellis, senior tight end Jeremy Sprinkle, and senior defensive lineman Deatrich Wise, Jr. Will Arkansas be able to build on a successful 8-5 (5-3) 2015 NCAA campaign where the Razorbacks finished in third place in the SEC West?
2016 will be Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops’ third time at SEC Media Days. His Wildcats are close, but have had back-to-back 5-7 seasons since his arrival in Lexington. Joining Stoops in Hoover will be senior running back Jojo Kemp, junior linebacker Courtney Love, and senior center Jon Toth. Will Kemp, Love, Toth, and the rest of their 2016 Wildcat teammates be able to build on their 5-7 (2-6) 2015 and get to bowl eligibility, or will the be stuck in the same Hole of mediocrity in 2016?
This will be the first trip to Hoover for new Missouri head coach Barry Odom, who is taking over for longtime Tigers head coach Gary Pinkel in 2016. Odom was the defensive coordinator for Missouri and clearly knows the program well. However, the Tigers massively underwhelmed in 2015 with a 5-7 (1-7) season. Joining Odom at SEC Media Days will be senior tight end Sean Culkin, junior defensive end Charles Harris, and senior linebacker Michael Scherer.
If six hours on Wednesday chock full of fantastic SEC Media Days coverage isn’t enough, The Paul Finebaum Show will air live from Hoover from 4:00 PM ET to 7:00 PM ET discussing all of day three’s action.
