Damian Lillard performs at his own rap concert for his birthday.

Many NBA players tend to celebrate their own birthdays with luxurious parties. Though for Damian Lillard, he decided to celebrate his birthday in a different fashion.

The Portland Trail Blazer and two-time All-Star decided to celebrate his 26th birthday party by performing at his own live rap concert in Oregon on Friday.

Among those to hit the stage with Damian Lillard, whose rap name is Dame D.O.L.L.A., were teammate C.J McCollum and former teammate Tim Frazier who’s now with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Here’s a couple clips from the concert:

Tickets to the 1,500 capacity show sold out within a day. Damian Lillard is known for his rapping skills. He rapped on Sway in the Morning during the 2015 All-Star Weekend in New York and rap connoisseur Sway labeled him as the best rapper in the NBA. He is also apart of the State Farm commercials which highlight the Hoopers family that includes NBA players Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan and Kevin Love. In one of the commercials, a baby version of Damian Lillard is seen rapping with a teenage version of Kevin Love.

Its good to see that Lillard is keeping it light in the off-season and enjoying himself. Lilliard has earned the right to have a little fun after having a career year with the departure of four starters last season that included LaMarcus Aldrige, Nicolas Batum, Wesley Matthews and Robin Lopez. The Second Team All-NBA performer averaged 25 points, nearly seven assists and four rebounds per game last season.
