The Pokemon craze is taking over everything, including the logos of NHL teams.

Unless you’ve been living under plenty of rocks, and hibernate during the summer, you’ve noticed that Pokemon is everywhere these days. It didn’t take long for athletes on pro sports teams to catch on, but this is taking it to a whole new level.

Artist Benjamagnus Design reimagined the logos for every NHL team as if they were run by Pokemon. We don’t have the time to go through every one of them here, so if you want to check out all of them, please click here. But in the mean time, here are some of the highlights:

Because the Chicago Blackhawks are a team that gets everything, it only makes sense for them to be photoshopped with the entire Pokemon universe. This edit of their logo includes Brock, Zubat & Chansey, Onix & Vulpix:

The Dallas Stars chose a Pokemon that hits pretty close to home in Starmie, although he managed to make the logo look like a bad acid trip:

This edit of the Florida Panthers as Persian effectively gives them a third eye – you will never view that team the same way ever again now:

The New Jersey Devils sporting Houndoom actually makes them more intimidating than their current logo. If I were them, I’d keep this one permanently:

And finally, the New York Islanders got the beloved Professor Oak, but had to revert back to their throwback Fisherman logo that only lasted for two seasons:

Somehow, Professor Oak is able to make that abomination somewhat tolerable.

All of the logos are really well done, and hopefully this creative endeavor will inspire artists to do the same for the other professional sports leagues. As long as Pokemon Go is around, the craze surrounding it won’t be dying down anytime soon, which means it’s only a matter of time before we see this duplicated elsewhere.
