It’s a busy baseball night tonight with all 30 teams taking the diamond under the lights to start the weekend.  It’s a night jam-packed with fantasy baseball options for your DFS competitions, so check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides for the best of today’s matchups.

For the most part, it looks like the weather will cooperate for tonight’s games as well, but the one game to be cautious of is the Giants @ Yankees. With so many other options, it might be wisest to stay away from the Bronx Bombers tonight especially since they’re taking on Madison Bumgarner.  The other 29 teams all are fair game, though, and some are in really good matchups.  The Braves and Rockies meet tonight in Colorado in one game that is sure to be a popular one offensively with an over/under of 10.5 only matched by the over/under of 10.5 in Fenway where the Red Sox offense has been booming.  Even though tonight is a jam-packed schedule it’s mostly front-loaded with only the Rays and Athletics playing in a game that starts after 9:00 PM ET.

With everyone in the action tonight, there are lots of different ways to assemble your roster. The goal of my FanDuel daily picks (which you can find almost every morning here at FanSided) is to provide you the information you need to select the best of those options to build your own lineup that can bring home a win.  In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, there are a variety of options on each slide with high-salary options, mid-range options, and high-value options at each position.

More from Boston Red Sox

For starting pitchers and outfielders, I’ve separated my picks into high-salary and high-value options on separate slides while the other positions each get one slide per position with multiple pricing options. I base each of my picks on the current form of each player and the matchups each player will face in tonight’s contest game.

I’ve found it very helpful to rank my picks to show the strength of each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a points-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the my most confident picks into my lineups for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In my FanDuel daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy baseball hub.
