Watch as Team USA’s Kyrie Irving torches an Argentina defender’s ankles during an Olympic exhibition.

On a team full of superstars, it’s tough for a single player to stick out above the rest on Team USA men’s basketball roster. Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, DeAndre Jordan, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Kyrie Irving dominate a loaded roster, but all are on the same level — or close to the same.

Like I said, it’s tough to stand out, unless your name is Kyrie Irving and you can utilize devastating moves that absolutely torch defenders’ ankles.

Watch what he did to a hapless Argentinian defender on Friday night during Team USA’s exhibition game in Las Vegas.

To be fair, Kyrie has been doing this all season long and it helped lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to an NBA title. He has made NBA stars look silly, so doing this to international competition shouldn’t be much of a surprise.

Irving will likely be Team USA’s No. 1 point guard along with Kyle Lowry and he’s already doing a solid job with the team following his lead. Team USA demolished Argentina in the friendly scrimmage, 111-74.

Not many people are really sure of what Team USA is capable of without players such as Steph Curry, Anthony Davis, Dwyane Wade, Russell Westbrook, James Harden and LeBron James, but it’s clear that they’re on a mission and they work well together.

If Kyrie can keep putting defenders on ice like this, it’ll be a cakewalk to gold in Rio.
