After a full 30-team competition last night, Major League Baseball is back with another big night this Saturday.  There are 12 games under the lights tonight as part of FanDuel’s main daily fantasy competition. With 24 teams to pick from, there are lots of different ways to construct your roster, and to see who I think you should consider for tonight check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides.

For the most part again tonight, it looks like the weather will cooperate. Most of the action is on the East Coast with ten games starting around even followed by the Braves and Rockies at 8:00 and the Rays and Athletics at 9:00.  The games are so compressed it’s basically a “Turbo” type schedule but with 12 games happening at virtually the same time.  There are a number of true Aces on the mound tonight as well, so make sure to get plenty of hitters in good matchups paired with just the right dominant starting pitcher.

The goal of my FanDuel daily picks (which you can find almost every morning here at FanSided) is to provide you the information you need to select the best of those options to build your own lineup that can bring home a win.  In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, there are a variety of options on each slide with high-salary options, mid-range options, and high-value options at each position.

More from Boston Red Sox

For starting pitchers and outfielders, I’ve separated my picks into high-salary and high-value options on separate slides while the other positions each get one slide per position with multiple pricing options. I base each of my picks on the current form of each player and the matchups each player will face in tonight’s contest game.

I’ve found it very helpful to rank my picks to show the strength of each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a points-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the my most confident picks into my lineups for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In my FanDuel daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy baseball hub.
