NBA star Joel Embiid and singer Justin Bieber recently got into an arm wrestling match while out on the town. Which of the two celebrities won the contest, though?

For NBA big man Joel Embiid, getting onto the court is still in process. However, he recently showed his strength against everyone’s favorite singer, Justin Bieber, as the two grappled a bit in an arm wrestling contest. A video soon appeared on a Bieber fan group site’s Instagram, showing the epic confrontation.

The bout was lopsided as one might expect, as the 76ers center was able to defeat the “Biebs.” The two reportedly battled in the early morning hours in California as Drake’s hit song “One Dance” played in the background. Surely the DJ could have picked a more ferocious track for a fight of this magnitude.

Joel Embiid came into the league as the No. 3 pick in 2014 but has yet to log any game time in the NBA due to a broken navicular bone in his foot and complications from it. He’s clearly shown some physical prowess while waiting to get into an actual NBA game sometime in his future. Then again, it was Justin Bieber he defeated.

The superstar singer appears to be an NBA fan and is always part of celebrity rumors. Bieber was infamously part of what many people originally thought was a legitimate fight with Blake Griffin. Some sites online started to report that Griffin slapped or smacked Bieber at a Starbucks. However, reports surfaced that the tale had been fabricated for a satirical website.

In this latest case, Bieber clearly got owned by the NBA big man, which is good for Embiid’s credibility and public image!
