Live stream, match card, start time, and more for WWE Battleground 2016 on Sunday, July 24 from the Verizon Center

There’s no getting around the simple fact that this is an extremely strange time for WWE right now. They’re coming out of the WWE Draft and heading right into the brand split with details still relatively sparse and more seemingly coming out by the day. Subsequently, the WWE Battleground 2016 pay-per-view set for Sunday in the Verizon Center in Washington, DC could be a doozie.

Obviously the main event is the first indication that WWE Battleground is going to be significant heading into SummerSlam. A triple threat match between the former Shield members has been dreamed about by fans for some time and now it’ll happen for the WWE Championship in the main event of the show on Sunday.

More than just that, the fans will be treated to another Sami Zayn-Kevin Owens battle while John Cena and AJ Styles will continue their match in a multi-man tag team match. With all of that and more, WWE Battleground 2016 has all the makings of a mid-level show that could wind up being memorable and one of the better PPVs of the year.

The full match card for WWE Battleground looks like this:

WWE Championship Triple Threat Match: Dean Ambrose (c) vs Seth Rollins vs Roman Reigns

Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens

John Cena, Enzo, and Big Cass vs The Club (Styles, Gallows, Anderson)

Becky Lynch vs Natalya

Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz (c) vs Darren Young

United States Championship Match: Rusev (c) vs Zack Ryder

The New Day vs The Wyatt Family

Sasha Banks and Mystery Partner vs Charlotte and Dana Brooke

Kickoff Match: The Usos vs Breezango

There are truly some can’t-miss matches throughout the card for WWE Battleground. If you love great wrestling or WWE, this could be a monumental show in DC.
