Looking at when the Washington Redskins training camp will start and where they’ll be practicing

The Washington Redskins came through in a way that no one was projecting last season as Kirk Cousins emerged as a viable starting NFL quarterback. With the rest of the NFC East trying to improve this offseason, though, the Redskins will have a tough division title defense this season and that will all start at training camp.

What’s positive for the Redskins is that they weren’t about to rest on their laurels for last season as they went out and pounced on one of the biggest names in free agency this offseason in cornerback Josh Norman to anchor arguably the weakest part of their defense.

Considering that their defense theoretically should be far better than it was last year, you have to believe that the Redskins as a whole could be far more viable contenders in the NFC this year. The question of course is how well it’s going to work.

That’s where training camp will come into play for the Redskins as they’ll get their first full look at Norman and the rest of the new additions and to see if this Washington team is primed to make another run through the NFC East. Therefore, fans may want to know all the details about training camp.

Redskins training camp will be held in Richmond, VA at the Bon Secours Training Center and both rookies and veterans will report to camp on July 27.
