Kareem Abdul-Jabbar throws shade at Donald Trump at the Democratic National Convention (Video)

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar showed just how fond he is of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Over the past week, the Republican and Democratic National Conventions have been ongoing. This led to the official reveals of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton as the nominees to become the next President of the United States.

Celebrities of the entertainment industry have come out to support either Trump or Clinton. Given that some of these names are very popular among the voters, it could help swing a few tallies once the election happens in November.

One person who spoke out is NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He appeared at the Democratic National Convention, and took a shot at Trump. Abdul-Jabbar introduced himself as Michael Jordan and said Trump “couldn’t tell the difference”.

The NBA Hall of Famer has always been known to speak his mind in a public manner, so doing this on a national stage shouldn’t come as a surprise. This may anger Trump, as his political campaign continues. He may even speak out on the comments sooner than later.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s comments will be among the many heard from celebrities over the next handful of months. It should help contribute to a potentially intriguing election season.
