Team USA teammates Kyrie Irving and Jimmy Butler were caught enjoying some Vanessa Carlton on the plane ride to Houston after Friday’s latest USMNT victory in exhibition basketball.

For Team USA it was another night of work, with a victory made to look way too easy and way too fun. Friday night saw them trounce another foreign competitor from their exhibition basketball schedule. With the game played in Chicago, it was also a homecoming for Jimmy Butler, who was caught singing along with Kyrie Irving on the plane trip to Houston.

Luckily for those who wanted to hear the duo in their karaoke debut, their teammate DeMar DeRozan captured a bit of their duet on his phone. DeRozan decided to give them some more publicity by posting the video to his Instagram account. He and several other Team USA stars including Draymond Green and Kevin Durant are seen enjoying the performance of Vanessa Carlton’s “1000 Miles.”

For those wondering, Butler had plenty to be happy about based on his return to Chicago. The star of the Bulls and his singing partner, teamed up to score 17 points for Team USA in the 80-45 win over Venezuela. Butler had just four points but grabbed eight rebounds, while Irving and Klay Thompson led all scorers with 13 points each.

Post-game looks like a fun-filled time on the Team USA trip as they prepare for their upcoming adventure in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The team is the favorite to win the gold medal in basketball at the 2016 Summer Olympics. While their quest will be all business in that medal pursuit in Rio, it’s clear most of these guys are able to let loose and enjoy each other’s company off the court.

Except for Melo, who maybe just wanted some rest without the crooning.
