NBCSN is going to be a major Rio Olympics hub. Here’s where to find it.

With there being so many Olympic sports this year — 42, with 306 separate events — it’s important to not only find which channel is covering which sport, but where the channel even is on your local cable listing.

That’s perhaps most true for NBCSN, otherwise known as the NBC Sports Network. According to NBC’s official Rio Olympics coverage guide, NBCSN will show 330 hours of programming over the course of the Olympics, which is more than any other network broadcasting the Games this year.

Most importantly, NBCSN is going to be the home of the US women’s soccer team as well as the men’s and women’s basketball teams. However, it’ll also show track and field, boxing, fencing, judo, open water swimming, synchronized swimming, and more. The network will air 16 hours of coverage “on most days,” according to NBC’s coverage guide, with that starting at 8am ET and ending at midnight.

NBCSN will also be showing medal events every day from August 6-21. Since it’s such a major channel, where can you find NBCSN on cable providers like Comcast, Time Warner, and DirecTV?

For Comcast, the fastest way to find NBCSN is to put your address in its official channel lineup page. NBCSN is broadcast both in HD and SD on XFINITY, with the SD channel usually lower than the HD channel.

DirecTV has its own local listings input page, which only requires your ZIP code. Check in the low 200s to start.

Time Warner’s local listings default to showing New York, but you can put your ZIP code in to change it to your own area. Check in the lower numbers for SD and then in the “Sports HD” section for NBCSN’s HD feed.
