It seems like Tyron Woodley really wants the money fight against Georges St. Pierre and has a screenshot of the conversation to prove it.

Tyron Woodley captured the UFC welterweight title at UFC 201 after knocking out Robbie Lawler in the first round of the main event. Immediately after becoming the new champion, Woodley wasted no time when stating who he wanted to face next. The UFC’s welterweight division is stacked with a great line of contenders, but out of all those contenders, there’s no doubt that Stephen Thompson is the next one in line for a shot at the title.

For Woodley, he has his sights set on other potential matchups, which he calls “money fights.” Two names came out of Woodley’s mouth and those names were former Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz and arguably the greatest MMA fighter of all time, Georges St. Pierre.

Both fighters have responded to Woodley’s call-out. For Diaz, he said he’ll fight Woodley if the price is right and for GSP, he’s already expressed his interest in the bout through a text message conversation with Woodley.

Now, according to Dana White, he said that Stephen Thompson is next in line for a shot at the title. Hearing this, it didn’t take Woodley long to go on Twitter and respond to White’s claims. Woodley mentioned how he feels it’s funny that his next fight has already been booked since he hasn’t heard anything about it, nor has he agreed to face Thompson.

Shortly after, he went on to tweet out a screenshot of the conversation between him and the former welterweight champion, GSP.

It’s still unknown who exactly Woodley will be facing next and it’s obvious that he wants to face GSP. But, it looks like the number one contender, Thompson, will be next in line.
