WWE rumors: Sasha Banks pulled from RAW live events

It seems former women’s champion Sasha Banks has been pulled from upcoming live RAW events.

The WWE rumors are kicking into high gear after a puzzling loss by champion Sasha Banks Sunday night. Banks lost in her championship defense against Charlotte by pinfall. That brought Sasha’s reign to a quick end after less than a month. It also had fans speculating about what happened.

Usually, championships get dropped due to Vince McMahon losing faith in a talent, or the talent gets hurt. Or they may be in hot water. That was the case with former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. In the case of Sasha Banks, fans were struggling to determine why she would have such a short title reign with her popularity.

Shortly after Sasha’s loss on Sunday night, Wrestling Inc reported on an interesting find. The website noted that Banks has been pulled from all upcoming RAW live events on WWE’s website calendar. The website shows her off the schedule for at least a good month. Her next advertised appearance is for Sept. 23 for a live event in Moline, Illinois. That could change as well.

Before fans get too heated over the news, it may not be as bad as some people think. Earlier this month, Banks got married to her partner Sarath Ton, a former professional wrestler who went by the ring name Mikaze. Some individuals are speculating that Banks and Ton will be going off to celebrate their honeymoon. It’s quite possible Banks requested time off to celebrate and get settled into the new marriage.

Stay tuned, though, as the full story seems to just be developing. It’s hoped by Banks’ fans and many other members of the WWE Universe that this isn’t another suspension and that Sasha hasn’t sustained another injury.
