LeBron James recently discussed a variety of topics, including his thoughts on Kevin Durant’s move to Golden State, the NBA Finals and “Space Jam 2.”

NBA champion LeBron James has been enjoying his offseason, but not by relaxing. He’s been constantly busy with training for the upcoming season as well as philanthropic and business ventures. He recently sat down for an interview, when he discussed those things, and some NBA as well.

King James talked with Business Insider about a variety of topics from basketball to training to movies. It included his thoughts on overcoming a 3-1 NBA Finals deficit against the Golden State Warriors.

He not only talked about the momentum shift, but also his alleged trolling of the Warriors after the series win. LeBron had been sighted in a WWF/E Ultimate Warrior t-shirt stepping off a plane, leading many to question if it was a message to Golden State.

LeBron claims it wasn’t much of a troll effort, as he said it was among several pro wrestler shirts his wife had packed, but the only available option.

"“That was the only one because all our bags were underneath the plane. So the only one I had was the Ultimate Warrior T-shirt that was packed in my travel luggage. And that’s what I put on. Everybody thinks it was set up that way, but it really wasn’t. It kind of worked out that way.”"

James was also asked about Kevin Durant leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder and joining the Warriors. He seems to be in full support of the decision.

"“When I saw the news I was like, ‘Wow,’ James said. “I think everyone had the “wow” thing. My [reaction] was no different from the average person who doesn’t know basketball to the person who watches it or covers it every day. So, I think it’s all great for our league. Our league is very competitive. It’s continued to grow, and [NBA Commissioner] Adam Silver has done a great job of picking up where David Stern started, so it’s pretty cool.”"

LeBron was asked if he better understood all of the reactions he got from fans when he left Cleveland for Miami. LeBron responded, “I think every decision is different. I think my decision to leave Cleveland and go to Miami and go back is different from Kevin Durant leaving OKC.”

It certainly was a different situation, although both resulted in the burning of superstar jerseys. LeBron also returned to his original squad once they were loaded up with enough new talent to get the job done. As for Durant, it could be argued that his team already had the talent to win, especially with Russell Westbrook in the team.

By the way, for those who have been craving that “Space Jam” sequel to finally come to fruition, James is on board for that, too. He noted, “We don’t want to do something that’s not authentic to the ‘Space Jam’ brand. So hopefully we can get it right.”

As for enjoying the championship and his latest offseason, James knows how success can be fleeting. LeBron wasn’t on Team USA but that hasn’t made him relax. He mentioned he’s still getting up at 5 a.m. and does a workout regimen five times per week.

It seems only fitting that a man known as “King” works so hard in his downtime so he won’t relinquish that throne!
