The NASCAR Truck Series might not be as popular as the Sprint Cup Series, but after this brawl they’ll definitely be getting more attention.

I will be the very first person to admit that I’m not the biggest fan of NASCAR living, but I can tell you that I am a fan of brawls in sports, as are a lot of other people. Well, one of the best sports brawls of the year happened on Sunday and it comes to us from the NASCAR Truck Series.

A NASCAR Truck Series race was taking place on Sunday, and as things were coming down to the wire, there was a battle between John Hunter Nemecheck and Cole Custer that saw the two trucks awfully close to one another as they were both vying for the win. Some may think that the battle would have ended right then and there, but no, it certainly did not.

"Replay: Here is the WILD finish from @CTMPOfficial. Still no word from #NASCAR on the winner. #NASCARonFS1 https://t.co/H5PTSEhN3t— FOX SPORTS: NASCAR (@NASCARONFOX) September 4, 2016"

After the race was over, Nemechek probably thought that the quarrel was over as well, but he quickly found out that wasn’t the case. He found out because Custer came in like Clay Matthews going after a quarterback, executing quite the nice form tackle.

"This is how you know #TheChase is just around the corner. Cole Custer tackles JH Nemechek in Canada. #NASCAR https://t.co/OiqGDMP78d— FOX SPORTS: NASCAR (@NASCARONFOX) September 4, 2016"

You know, with football season just getting underway, this whole thing was kinda fitting when you think about it. That was a monster hit by Custer, and even if you’re not a fan of Custer, you have to appreciate it.
