Notre Dame wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown is really doing all he can to make a name for himself on Sunday

One of the fun things about the college football season beginning is that we get to see who some of the new stars are gonna be this coming season. Well, we’re quickly learning that Notre Dame wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown will be one of the star that everyone has to keep an eye on.

With the Fighting Irish taking on the Texas Longhorns on the national stage, St. Brown really is making sure that you won’t forget about him, and he made one of the more memorable plays of the game with his second score of the evening.

Earlier in the first half, St. Brown hauled in a pretty nice score from DeShone Kizer, but that one was nowhere near the effort on the second one that came late in the second quarter. With Notre Dame down 14-7 at the time, Kizer found an open St. Brown over the middle, who darted his way fort the tying score.

This game has been fun thus far, and the offenses have a lot to do with that. When they make the right quarterback decision, Notre Dame has been moving the ball nicely down the field as they try to beat Texas for the second straight season.

But the story of this play is St. Brown, who has really introduced himself to a lot of folks who didn’t know who he was prior to this evening. Everyone was worried about some of the firepower that Notre Dame lost, but St. Brown is quickly showing that he’s got it taken care of, along with Kizer.

It’s definitely gonna be fun watching these two connect all season.
